Bankstown Sports Club is a sport and community-focused not-for-profit organisation, based in the heart of Sydney’s southwest. Proudly supporting 43 sporting clubs and over 100 community groups and charities across the Canterbury-Bankstown, Cumberland, and Hills Shire areas. Their aim is to bring people together and create a sense of belonging for those in our community.

Working closely with the CEO and the wider club community, you must have the skills and experience within sport to create a clear vision and strategic direction that effectively engages and delivers services to members.

The ideal candidate will have:

Qualification in Sport or Community Administration and Management, or an otherwise deemed equivalent certification demonstrating capacity for and suitability for the role
Experience in working within a sporting community is desirable
Proven results in building advocacy and community presence, understanding financials, gaining ongoing brand recognition and traction
Excellent communication skills written & verbal

Experience in identifying and delivering opportunities for community participation in physical activity, recreation and sport

Woollahra Sailing Club is looking for an experienced member and customer service-oriented person, to take responsibility management and operational delivery of its member services. This role will work collaboratively across all areas of the club. It will be the main contact in dealing with all membership matters covering renewals, boat storage and providing support to the club’s events program. The role will work equally across two key areas membership engagement and facility management.

TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS ROLE:

A minimum of 5 years experience in a membership or customer focussed role
Knowledge of sailing and or boating would be an advantage
Good written & verbal communication skills
Excellent organizational and time management skills, and attention to detail
